Meet Rena
My journey into energy healing began over 25 years ago, while managing an integrative medical centre on Harley Street, where people living with complex or unresolved health challenges came to seek complementary approaches alongside conventional treatment. It was here that I first encountered energy healing, witnessing its impact on clients and learning some of its principles and practices for myself. The experience left a lasting impression. Around the same time, my mother's journey with cancer brought energy healing into my personal life. I began to appreciate how profoundly the presence, care and energy of another person could offer comfort, even when a cure was no longer possible. These experiences helped shape an understanding that has stayed with me: healing and curing are not always the same thing.
My professional life continued in healthcare, including many years managing a specialist oncology practice, where I worked closely with patients and medical professionals navigating some of life's most challenging circumstances. Alongside this, I pursued my own studies in biology, psychology and spirituality, gaining an MSc, MBA and postgraduate diploma in psychology. Eventually, my enduring interest in energy healing led me to the College of Psychic Studies in London, where I completed a two-year diploma in Integrated Energy Healing in 2025. Energy healing became my primary modality because it brings together much of what I have come to understand about the interconnected nature of our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual lives. It offers a way of working with the whole person, creating space for aspects of our experience that cannot always be expressed in words.
After many years in healthcare, I came to recognise that something important was calling for more of my attention. As a practice manager, I had often sat on the opposite side of the table from those experiencing illness, uncertainty and emotional distress. I could offer practical support, reassurance and compassion, but the boundaries of my role limited how deeply I could accompany them. Eventually, I chose to leave that world and devote myself fully to energy healing and spiritual counselling. I wanted to move from supporting people through their treatment to accompanying them more deeply in their healing. To sit alongside them, to listen, to explore what might lie beneath their challenges and to support them in becoming active participants in their own healing. Today, my work draws upon professional knowledge, lived experience, spiritual understanding and intuition, always with deep respect for each person's unique journey.
My own life has been a journey of healing and discovery. Over time, I have come to know greater self-compassion where there was once self-criticism, and a deeper sense of belonging, love and self-trust where I once experienced separation and disconnection. My own journey has taught me that healing is not necessarily about becoming someone different, but about rediscovering who we are beneath the experiences and beliefs that have shaped us. My spiritual practice continues to deepen this understanding, knowing that while we cannot always change our circumstances, we can transform our relationship with ourselves and with what life brings. I remain curious about what our experiences can teach us and what becomes possible when we reconnect with our deeper nature. It is this understanding, shaped by my own experiences and a lifelong curiosity about the nature of healing, that I bring to the people I have the privilege of working with.
Healing is like a group hug, it involves you, me and Source. We come together in a metaphoric group hug, with one goal in common - to work for your highest good..
